The 2024 Sprint Season starts soon !

Hi all

So, we are now live with the new website design and we are now starting to load up all the relevant dates for the forthcoming Sprints.

To start with, there is a Test Sprint starting on 23rd February at 00:00 UTC and will run until 23:59 UTC on 25th February.

The chosen project is PrimeGrid and the whole idea is for Sebastien to monitor the stats gathering as well as making sure the website can display the collected data.

THERE ARE NO FB POINTS ON OFFER and the Sprint will be deleted once the Sprint has finished. But it will give Sebastien a chance to make sure everything works correctly before we go LIVE for the 1st Sprint from 28th Feb-2nd March.

So please get involved with the Test Sprint and let's hope everything runs smoothly - if it doesn't then it can be fixed easily and we will know all should be OK for the official Sprints.

Hi all

I've taken the liberty of publicising the re-launch of Formula BOINC for the 2024 Season, by posting some information in the Cafe/General sections of various project messageboards.

The hope is to stimulate more interest in the group and the Sprint Challenges which will hopefully increase both team and member participation throughout the year.

And I would ask all forum members to help out by re-posting the messages in your own team forums, so we can really generate a lot more enthusiasm for BOINC as well as building up the excitement of crunching with your compatriots and against other teams.

I've already seen and accepted new registrations today and I hope over the coming weeks that more will join in.

So, please spread the word and let's kick some a55 this year and really generate lots of credits for as many BOINC projects as we can.
