I'm unable to access the Asteroids website, and the Formula Boinc stats haven't updated correctly for several hours.
Why was this project even selected if you can't track the stats properly?
Hi

If the Asteroids website is inaccessible to you, it will also be inaccessible to anyone else and therefore the FB stats collection function will also fail.

FB has NO CONTROL over project websites and therefore, the stats updates can only take place when it is possible to collect them from the project. If there is an issue with the project, such as a cyber attack, local power failure, or someone broke it's internet connection then no one at FB can predict this is going to happen.

Maybe YOU can predict such events in which case, please let me know the latest lottery numbers?

Each potential Sprint project is checked before each Sprint starts to ensure it will have tasks available. And to check that no project maintenance will be taking place during the Sprint. Sadly, we do not possess a crystal ball nor we do have divine powers or the ability to foretell the future.

I did offer prayers to God, Allah, Buddha, Yahweh, Jupiter, Zeus, Ra, Mithra, Shangdi, Krishna but I couldn't find any willing sacrificial offerings and I am totally out of gold, frankincense and myrh

And sadly, NONE of them replied to me to let me know that everything will be perfect.

regards
Tim

But I only registered once
Hi

Yes you registered ONCE via the FB registration system:
Antares2022
Request date : Fri, 23 Feb 2024 12:43:14 +0100 (CET)
Project : Amicable Numbers
Team : SWISS National Team
However, i did notice that you have TWO account names on the FB User list and this was reported to Sebastien some time ago.

So, it could be that if you have 2 (or more) different Cross-Project ID numbers, Sebastien has actually entered at least 2 of them into the Member League table so that whichever account is active and earning credits, will be listed.

If, as I suggested, you can edit the various projects so that they all use the same email address then the CPID's should eventually all re-align into a single CPID.

today we've lost the first place in L3 User Stats. I mean it's gone :D
I suppose, you don't move users between leagues during ongoing sprint, so it looks a bit mystical.

Maybe that user found an inhabited asteroid, so he was simply abducted
Could you check it please? He might need our help out there...

With a sense of humor an best regards,

Hi

As of now, the FB Sprint #23 User League 3 table shows the following Top 10 Members:

Code: Select all

Pos.	User Points	Championship credits
1	biodoc 25	233,616
2	eiernacken1983 18	180,471
3	Detlef Erdmann 15	147,687
4	Frank [NT] 12	135,429
5	Tamagoch 10	131,337
6	Herby44 8	100,970
7	[AF>Libristes]IxPo	6	93,164
8	UBT - wbiz 4	85,456
9	Antares2022 2	85,425
10	Spot T 1	48,870
And note that Antares2022 is now shown in Posn #9

https://www.formula-boinc.org/sprints.p ... printid=25

Note: That due to Asteroids website being offline right now these stats are probably out of date by some time (as I did not notice when their website stopped worked as I was either asleep, or doing household chores or even enjoying some wine and having a relaxing time watching a movie).

Also: Antares2022 stats in the #2 Sprint has also re-appeared in Posn #39:

Asteroids hangs, Formula-Boinc hangs, everything as always, of course Formula Boinc can run on Asteroids no problem. The Asteroids Admin overestimates himself, like every time. Congratulations.

the asteroids admin will have been too busy trying to cope with the DDOS (which amazingly affects sprint projects quite a lot)

There is no point in criticizing FB for this project. Nimrud2023 (Switzerland) also took part in this sprint. He reports that no credits have been posted to asteroid@home in the last 3 days. The website is currently unavailable, for whatever reason, so it is clear that the statistics are currently suffering.

Hi

Pardon? What are you talking about?

According to my browser, it says this:
Common Name (CN) www.formula-boinc.org
Organization (O) <Not Part Of Certificate>
Organizational Unit (OU) <Not Part Of Certificate>
Common Name (CN) E6
Organization (O) Let's Encrypt
Organizational Unit (OU) <Not Part Of Certificate>
Issued On Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 4:48:29 AM
Expires On Friday, January 31, 2025 at 4:48:28 AM
Maybe you should look at: https://www.formula-boinc.org as I do not know anything about the formular-boinc.org domain name...
