...and I find strange the remarks above about German people "quitting boinc because of FB stopping" ?...
Actually this wasn't well represented by Michael. People left their team on how discussions around and decisions about FB happened; could have been any other topic than FB as well. Electricity bills might be a reason to stop boincing, dysfunctional FB is not...
easily control CPU or GPU resources to be split between various projects by allocating a percentage of CPUs towards specific projects (so say allowing on a 16 core machine for 6 cores to be used with one project, and 8 on another project),
you can use app_config https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Client_configuration (with the use of <project_max_concurrent>x for delimiting number of threads dedicated to a single project and <ngpus>0.x for delimiting the GPU use)
or you can use multiple clients on the same host with the use of boincmgr.exe
Hello Tim , best regards from Belgium

I will not support any actions for Russia.
We all know that Russian projects like SiDock can never and will never share their results with the free world.
And some teams are not able to report their results to the Russian savers, so a fair competition cannot be expected.
For this reason, I am not able to support the sprint at SiDock.
Russia is threatening to attack European capitals with nuclear missiles - and I am supposed to count for a Russian project?
Please think about which projects you choose for a sprint.

Sometimes you have to recognise the difference between a country's Government and the people of that country, this applies to more and more countries these days, most Governments are doing things against the wish of the people never mind which party has been elected. I include my own country of UK in this.

Hi
You are of course free to choose to process any tasks for any project.
However, I think you should consider that the state of Russia and the issues whereby the state tries to control their population, their media and any opposition from individuals or organisations is quite different to the work of scientists and researchers who wish to carry on doing important projects, independent of their state system.
And it is known that most educated and intellectual Russian people as well as many learned scientists are totally against Putin and his obsessive behaviour (and his war against Ukraine). And science must stay outside the control of politics for it to be successful in helping humanity to use the knowledge for the improvement of everyone.
PS: I do not choose which project is selected - it is done randomly, from a sub-set of projects that have tasks available.
