Hiya

I'm running BM v8.0.0 (x64) (on Windows host) and have had no issues with it with this project (or any other project either).

However, I'm not using BAM - so I guess running an older version of BM is maybe something you should try?

Hi all

We have just 6 more Sprints to go until the end of these "challenges" for 2024 - so there are still some good FB points to be earned which could change both Team and Member positions in each of the respective Leagues.

I have attempted to make contact with the Project Admin at the randomly selected project for Sprint #19.

I await confirmation that their server will be able to cope with the expected high number of task downloads once the Sprint starts.

Hi all

The chosen project admin confirmed that they can support the forthcoming Sprint :-)

Therefore, the randomly selected project for Sprint #19 is NumberFields

Lots of tasks should be available, so hope everyone can crunch as much as possible.

Hi all

Just 5 more sprints to go and still time to boost your team or individual stats some more...

I have attempted to make contact with the Project Admin at the randomly selected project for Sprint #20.

I await confirmation that their server will be able to cope with the expected high number of task downloads once the Sprint starts.

Aktuell Sprint , World Community Grid, 2024-10-24 21:00 UTC - 2024-10-27 21:00 UTC

why do you choose a projekt which ignores every User interest?

The admin don't fix the faulty team export, our Team exists in the User Profile
TeamID 2D9NJC7XK2 in WCG but will not be exported.

We ask since january 2024 to fix this but nothing happens, no fix and no reaction for this bug.

Please take such a Project out of the List of selectable Projects.

Thanks, csbyseti

Hi

Thanks for your comment.

The project is chosen at random from a sub-set of projects that are known to have had plenty of tasks *before* the Sprint and that will have available tasks over the period of the Sprint.

I am sorry to hear that you and your team have issues with WCG.

But, if you or your team have a problem with WCG, that is outside of my control (or anyone elses, except the admins for the project).

So, maybe you should contact the relevant admins and if they do not respond to your satisfaction, then take it up with the owners (Krembill) themselves?

https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/viewContactUs.do

As for taking it out of the selectable projects list? Why should that happen if the project continues to have tasks available?

Hi

Maybe the stats team display** and their export is FUBAR, but I am still getting tasks, so hopefully, if WCG can fix the stats side, by sometime on Sunday, then the FB League tables should be able to update from the figures currently displayed on the FB website.

** that I can see on my WCG account

I guess we just need to play the waiting game and keep our fingers crossed that it is fixed by Sunday.

1:11pm update/EDIT:
I've been keeping an eye on the Leagues tables (since I posted the above) and as of 1pm, they *did* increment and team and member stats are being collected without issue.

What is FUBAR is only one of our team members can get any WUs. The WCG device profiles seem to be broken.

Hi

I've emailed them (via the WCG contacts page) to see if they know about ANY issues, specific to the stats, but if members have issues then they need to contact the admins themselves and see if this is a general problem or something specific to certain members accounts?

As I mentioned, I've not had an issue getting tasks, but I cannot speak for anyone else :-(
