It'll be interesting to see how well all the FB teams fare on this Challenge as there is another Sprint (organised by a different website) which takes place over the exact same weekend to hold their 2nd Sprint from 02:00 UTC on 5th April until the same time on 9th April.

I wonder if they will choose the same project...?

As it turns out, they couldn't if they wanted to this time. Primegrid isn't on their sprint list.

Or did you mention the possibility to throw us off the scent

Hi all

I have made contact with the Project Admin at the randomly selected project for Sprint #5

Every league has the same project during each sprint, no matter which League each Team is in.

I await confirmation that their server will be able to cope with the expected high number of task downloads once the Sprint starts.

as the message-boards of Gerasim are not available, could you ask the Admins why their projekt only works with BOINC-Clients up to 7.20.x ?

Newer Clients (7.24.x) can not get work, the message in the Logfile is:

Scheduler request to https://gerasim.boinc.ru/sched/gsm.sched failed: Failure when receiving data from the peer

HOWEVER: I have one host running Gerasim right now, and it uses the Windows version 7.24.1 (x64) of BOINC Manager. And this is working correctly and processing both CPU and GPU (on NVidia) tasks AND it is earning credits on the Gerasim project website.

So, it could be that your Gerasim installation might a problem. Can you try resetting AND removing Gerasim within BOINC Manager and see what happens when you re-add the project? Make sure also, that you have no app_info.xml file remaining in the Gerasim project directory.
