Trouble logging in? (April 2021)

Hi all

Sebastien has been working on the forum functionality, and as a result any existing "cookies" on your PC need to be deleted. This might not work, via the "Delete cookies" option on the login screen.

So, if you are having trouble trying to login, then try this:

I went to my browser (Google Chrome) and using the:

"Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data > See all cookies and site data"

and then typing in "formula-boinc" in the top right search area, I could then find and delete the cookies that had been set.

(Other browsers should offer this function - check the settings for the specific browser that you use).

Worked on Chrome as I'm evidently able to log in again.

With Firefox easy :

Options > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site data > manage or clear data

Quicker way for Chrome Desktop Browser that deletes on the website you visiting...

Click on the "Lock" to the left of the FB website url.
A popup menu appears.
Click on "Cookies".
Another popup window appears showing Cookies in use.
Click on "formula-boinc.org" in the box and then click the "Remove" button.
Click the "Done" button.

You should now be able to log in successfully.
