Forum tweaks

Hi all

As it is late in the year, and there are just over 2 months left for this "season", I've made a couple of forum tweaks as follows:

1) A new section called "FB 2023" has been created and future plans for the 2023 Marathon and Sprints are currently being considered and will be announced in due course.

2) The FB 2021 section has been moved to the Archive section and it is now "locked" - it can still be viewed, should bots, spiders or anyone else care to take a look ;-)

3) Further, Sebastien has invited me to carry on as Forum and Sprint "admin". I am happy to do so, as long as the FB membership are happy for me to continue. I will leave it up to members to raise any concerns and/or objections, either publicly, directly to Sebastien or to me in private.

regards
Tim

Only just saw this ... YES PLEASE, do carry on Tim. You have been the saviour of FB imho

I trust Seb will attend to the admin stuff you have no control over; in particular, I really do think 2 or more leagues should be created. It could be done immediately based on 2022 finishing positions

Thanks for your vote of confidence David :-)

I think he can do what is necessary, from a coding point of view.

And having two leagues, based on 2022 final positions has been suggested (by me) to Sebastien - and we might even have two Sprint projects, one per league, to lessen the burden on some projects.

However, I am waiting for Sebastien to confirm what HE wants to do and given some of the feedback offered on the forum previously, as well as some other new ideas, will ensure that FB is kept "fresh" and will hopefully appeal to more members.

regards
Tim

Hi all

I've now archived the 2022 Season of postings as it is now 2023 !

I've also created quick links to all the sub-forums of the Archive section, so all the different years can be viewed with a single click :-)

Tim
