Hi all
It's interesting to see the stats (courtesy of
https://grafana.kiska.pw/ ) for Moo! Wrapper a few hours after it was announced as the Sprint #10 project.
Just look at what happened at 4pm UTC when the Sprint started !!

The number of tasks "ready to send" dropped VERY quickly from just under 4,000 to about 500!!
regards
Tim

Hi Tim
No tasks be seen at my end.
I joined up around 0800 AEST in Australia. PC has been running since. It is now nearly 1400 and still nothing.

Hi
Have you set your Moo Preferences (via your account on their website) to "allow" tasks for BOTH CPU and GPU (either NVidia or AMD/ATI, depending on your graphics card, if you have one)?
What have you set as your "Options > Computing preferences" for the "Store at least" cache/buffer settings? (I set mine to 3 days + additional set to 2 days).
And, yes there is high demand for tasks, so, just be patient and some should come to you.

Tim

Hi all
I have made contact with the Project Admin at the randomly selected project for Sprint #11.
Every league has the same project during each sprint, no matter which League each Team is in.
I await confirmation that their server will be able to cope with the expected high number of task downloads once the Sprint starts.
regards
Tim

Hi all
The selected Project Admin has contacted me and they are aware that Sprint #11 is taking place and no issues are expected and they will ensure that there are plenty of tasks available for FB members to crunch.
Good luck everyone.

Tim

Hi all
The selected project for FB Sprint #11 is
NumberFields.
Lots of tasks are going to be available so "fill yer boots" over the next few days.

Hi all
I received this message back from the NumberFields admin, Eric, after the Sprint #11 ended:
I think the sprint was a success, at least from my perspective. Throughput was about 75% higher than usual which is nice to see.
Thanks!
Eric
Well done to everyone who took part in Sprint #11.
regards
Tim

Hi all
I have made contact with the Project Admin at the randomly selected project for Sprint #12.
I await confirmation that their server will be able to cope with the expected high number of task downloads once the Sprint starts.
NB: Please note - I am hoping that AFTER Sprint #12 ends and BEFORE Sprint #13 starts, some FB members and teams will be promoted (or relegated) from their specific Leagues, based on their relative performance (or lack of !!) in the first 6 months of both Marathon and Sprint events.
The hope is that this will make things a bit more competitive between those teams and members who are actually supporting FB (and hence they are, by definition, also supporting the various BOINC projects).
So due appreciation for those who have done well in the lower leagues will be rewarded by their promotion
regards
Tim

So, by the time this Sprint ends, we will be 50% of the way through the Sprint season and it seems to have been going quite well, with few hiccups. I hope the second half of the season is also going to go well. Fingers crossed it will be
