Tim,

from the actual running Sprint with Asteroids the Stats are looking very poor. Could you please check it ?

Thanks in advance

To give you a hint: I can't find my User-Stats in L1, where it should be.

Even if Asteroids wouldn't come up with my credits, I should be listed with 0-Points, but I should have more than 12.000 Credits so far

Hi

I think there is an issue with the Asteroids website and so if their stats are not exported reasonably regularly or their website is running slowly (which seems to be the case) then the FB Sprint stats tables will not update as often as they should.

As far as your member listing in L1, I will ask Sebastien to look into this, but I cannot guarantee that he will fix anything (if it is broken somehow) as he has taken a step back from any day to day involvement with the FB website. And I'm not a PHP expert, so, if there is a need to update any coding, he is the best person to do this, at present.

This might also be related to the issue you advised me about on 15th February when you advised me that you had changed email address and that your CPID had changed...so it could be that the FB stats is collecting your OLD CPID and not your NEW one?

In the meantime, please go to this FB website page:

https://formula-boinc.org/howtoregister.py

And then click on the "Send a private message" using the button next to the "NumberFields" project name as this is the best way to register your account with the FB "backoffice" coding and this might be enough to ensure you are registered with the right CPID and therefore your credits are being collated correctly.

Tim

Tim, as you can see, in the earlier Asteroids-Sprint I have already taken part and my credits have shown up, as I have taken part in all Sprints 2024:

So, I see no sense in a new registering, i'm afraid it could damage more than it will help

Hi

Yes, I was just checking this myself, so I need to look at the FB system logs and make sure that your Asteroids CPID is correctly entered.

UPDATE:
I've tried to do an Asteroids "stats update" (to request a updated copy of the stats "tables.xml" file as this was when it was last requested and gave the error message shown:
2024-07-05 08:16:42 UTC : Unable to get file tables.xml
So, I'm guessing that the issue is purely down to the slow responsiveness of the Asteroids website. :o

I'll keep on manually requesting the Asteroids stats file over the next hour and see if it fixes the problem.

Tim

Hi,

can someone put an eye on sum up of the sprints?
As a member of P3D I assume, tha the points are not correct.
Or the points of NO Team are not correct.

Thx in advance

Hi

Can you please give me more details about the issue you are talking about?

Maybe you missed out the fact that when Members and/or Teams were promoted/demoted recently, that previous Sprint FB points were retained and carried over to the new League that they were moved into.

Or is it about the FB points awarded on a specific Sprint? Or on the Total FB points on the Marathon? Or maybe something else?

I need more specific details and then I can check it out and provide an answer to your message.

regards
Tim

Stony,

we are a new Team that has started early this year. Because of the FB-Rules we had to start in L3 and as we are a very small, but high performer Team, we made a lot of Place 1 - Races, that each gave us 25 Points.

Now, with the new "Mix-Up", we have made our way to L1, but have kept our already earned Points.
