Not long to go !

Post by UBT - Timbo »

Hi all

As you might know, 1st December marks the start of the final month of crunching for the Marathon this year.

As of today, the overall League standings is currently:

Code: Select all

Posn	Team Points
1 The Scottish Boinc Team 744
2 Planet 3DNow! 626
3 L'Alliance Francophone 544

4 Ukraine 378
5 SETI.Germany 304

6 Czech National Team 264
7 BOINC@AUSTRALIA 251
8 TeAm AnandTech 238
9 Rechenkraft.net 191
10 Dutch Power Cows 155

11 BOINC.Italy 123
12 Crunching@EVGA 112
13 Russia Team 103
14 Universidad San Jorge (USJ)	102
15 LinusTechTips_Team 91
16 AMD Users 89
17 LITOMYSL Boinc Team Czech Rep	80

18 TSC! Russia 64
19 meisterkuehler.de Team 63
20 BOINC@Austria 59
21 BOINC.BE 47
22 Canada 29
23 Hardware Canucks 21
24 UK BOINC Team 21
25 Overclock.net 8
26 Crystal Dream 5
27 BOINC Synergy 0
Unless there is a sudden change in team membership (as a result of members leaving or joining teams) or a massive "bunker drop" of credits on some high yielding project(s), I think it is safe to say that (as it stands) the top 4 or 5 teams are likely to retain their current league positions.

But from 6th down to maybe 16th or 17th, there could be some positional changes, IF team members put in a concerted effort on high credit earning projects.

So, keep on churning out the credits and best of luck to improve *your* teams position by the end of the year...as this could be very beneficial to each team, when the 2023 season starts (hint hint ;-) )

regards
Tim

Hi David

Thanks for the feedback and compliments.

I just hope that my small efforts can help to re-invigorate support for the FB Challenges and give everyone a chance to compete and have some fun and some healthy competition?

(But also recognising that energy prices have risen, so not as many people can absorb the extra costs of crunching tasks 24/7).

Hopefully, (and touch wood) there won't be any major issues...

regards
Tim
