Re: Sprints 2024 - timetable and projects selected

WCG isn't going to fix anything, history is my witness. The one person (tigerlilly) that sporadically replied on the message boards has left the project. Now nobody responds. They tried to re-launch ARP1 months ago and that failed. Supposedly just waiting on storage to be connected. Once again that ...

Re: Sprints 2024 - timetable and projects selected

World Community Grid !!!!!! ??????? That site has so many problems in addition to the general lack of communication from the admins. 40 Minutes ago I couldn't logon on to the website due to some error with authentication. Looks like another sprint to skip.......

Re: Sprints for 2024

Your schedule doesn't seem to match your description. There is a Sprint scheduled for Jul 18. The "break" seems to be from Jul 28 to Aug 22.

Re: Sprints 2024 - timetable and projects selected

Aren't stats updated once an hour on the hour? If yes, how come there have been points awarded but the sprint is less than an hour old?

Re: Sprints 2024 - timetable and projects selected

Your post on May 16, 2024 at 12:03pm seems to rule out Milkyway as a viable project due to not having a lot of tasks on any given day. Milkyway was selected as the Steeplechase project in this years Pentathlon and hasn't had a single issue in the last four days. Alternatively, Numberfields seems to ...

Re: Sprints for 2024

Unfortunately, there are some of us that can't get 2 days worth of work due to the number of threads per machine, the WU runtime, and the 1000 WU BOINC client limit. It is even worse with A@H because they have a 400 WU limit. 400 WUs on a 128 thread machine don't last that long. I guess each contri...
