Czym jest Formuła Boinc ?

FormulaBOINC (FB) is a competition for BOINC teams. It is based on the principle of the Formula 1 championship. Starting in 2017, the competition is composed of 2 groups of events:

• Marathons : each project is considered as a "Grand-Prix". The 10 best teams on each project get a fixed number of FB points.
• Sprint : 20 events of 3-days throughout the year, according to the schedule of the Formula 1 championship. Each sprint will involve only one project. The chosen project will only be known 24 hours before the start of the sprint. The top 10 teams on each sprint are given a fixed number of FB points.

The teams selected for the FB are divided into three divisions of 25 teams. The distribution of teams depends on the number of active members (RAC> 100) on each project.

• 1. = 25 punktów FB
• 2. = 18 punktów FB
• 3. = 15 punktów FB
• 4. = 12 punktów FB
• 5. = 10 punkty FB
• 6. = 8 punkty FB
• 7. = 6 punkty FB
• 8. = 4 punkty FB
• 9. = 2 punkty FB
• 10. = 1 punkt FB

Ostatecznym celem Trofeum Formuły Boinc jest nie tyle bycie kolejną stroną ze statystykami i zwycięzcą, co propagowanie rywalizacji między drużynami we wszystkich projektach, a nie jedynie w kilku szczególnych.

W klasyfikacji tej wszystkie projekty są tak samo ważne, żaden nie jest uznawany za bardziej czy mniej interesujący.

Powinno to również pomóc małym czy nowym projektom, zwłaszcza że coraz częściej pojawiają się one na platformie Boinc.
