¿ Que es lo de Formula Boinc ?
FormulaBOINC (FB) is a competition for BOINC teams. It is based on the principle of the Formula 1 championship. Starting in 2017, the competition is composed of 2 groups of events:
- Marathons : each project is considered as a "Grand-Prix". The 10 best teams on each project get a fixed number of FB points.
- Sprint : 20 events of 3-days throughout the year, according to the schedule of the Formula 1 championship. Each sprint will involve only one project. The chosen project will only be known 24 hours before the start of the sprint. The top 10 teams on each sprint are given a fixed number of FB points.
The teams selected for the FB are divided into three divisions of 25 teams. The distribution of teams depends on the number of active members (RAC> 100) on each project.
Puntos Formula Boinc :
- 1.o = 25 puntos FB
- 2.o = 18 puntos FB
- 3.o = 15 puntos FB
- 4.o = 12 puntos FB
- 5.o = 10 puntos FB
- 6.o = 8 puntos FB
- 7.o = 6 puntos FB
- 8.o = 4 puntos FB
- 9.o = 2 puntos FB
- 10.o = 1 punto FB
El objetivo final del trofeo Formula BOINC, no es solamente un nuevo tipo de stats con un ganador [a finales de año], es tambien promover la competición entre los equipos sobre todos los proyectos, y no sobre los que conceden muchos créditos.
Cada proyecto tiene el mismo valor en este trofeo, ningún proyecto es más importante que otro.
Eso debería ayudar a los pequeños o nuevos proyectos en un período en que cada vez más de proyectos se incorporan a la plataforma BOINC.
